On their first (and possibly only) tour of the states this Goth Industrial band introduced their great blend of old school 80's goth guitar rifts and unique drum machine work. They create a good sound scape while adding some sight and scent from the smoke machine created a good dark atmosphere. |

This band's music is what "industrial" is all about. It has almost been a decade since I bought Eastside Militia so its been a long time before seeing this band live. This band primarily is Jared Louche who I saw perform one Chemlabd song live as a part of Pigface (review below). Inbetween that tour and this one Jared was working on acquiring a full band for this tour so I waiting until the band was complete. They started off with the first track from Eastside Militia and during the 3rd song Jared was warmed up. He was in motion the whole show while changing the way many parts of each song sounded from the cds. At one point he walked to the end of the stage and onto the floor to sing right in front of us, this happened after the crowd behind me (I was all the way up front) was less frightend of him and comfortable enough to get near the statge. Near the end of the set he said good night, walked off stage then walked in front of us and middle fingered the band and chanted encore. The crowd got into it and then Jared did a rolling front flip back onto stage and performed the last songs. |

Tour For A Shity CD |
This band used to be a Great Gothic Industrial band headed by Rozz Williams in the early 80's. It ended up being a lamer ass clown's (Valer) band with a hot chick on bass in the 1990s. Lucky a local jerk off bubba starting talking shit to Valor (the new lame jackass lead singer). He said his Dick was bigger, and Valor told him to come up and prove it... Well he did, sort of. The jackoff went on stage and started to jack off... Ohh I forgot to add he was very drunk so he was impotent. He was laughed off stage then. Later on the show two kids went on stage and flopped up and down on the ground looking like they were having seizures when they were doing the flounder. I responded to the band with occasionally shouting you suck! The other 2 bands made the show worth it. |

| Das Ich |
Anti-Christ |
A German Industrial band comes to Jacksonville? and they drove from their last concert which was in California, talk about culture show. Good same venue show, decent turn out, as usual the opening bands make me wish I would have showed up late. Das Ich is a Synth based band and all the energy comes from their high energy extremely active front man. They got the crowd into even though the music didn't have much substance. All and All better than other things in Jacksonville. |

Live Cd |
This show was a very rare opportunity to see, especially in Jacksonville. They added a great Live German Drummer which took this band to the next level live. I never really got into their cds much, but their live show is full of pure energy, also their musical talents shine and explode live. |

This show had a very good dark gloomy industrial mood and atmosphere (until the end where all the older folks danced to Cars). The music is still the pure synth but darker and harder. |

Even in Jacksonville a City of the Mindless Anti Every Pysho Born Again Baptists which protested this concert (never having seen it though) it was a good show. It wasn't as raunchy or outrageous as other shows they have (especially at their home of Tampa/Ybor City,FL) but the music was enjoyable and a good show over all. |

I looked forward to this gig too much. I usually look forward to gigs and I wasn't mega hyped for it but thought hey they're in their home town they'll do some crazy stuff and play what I want to hear... Wrong! It was an oook show and the song selection wasn't great. I was pretty bored at this concert and I won't be seeing them again. If you'd be seeing them for the first time I wouldn't suggest seeing them unless you still shop at hot topic and dye your hair alot. |

This gig was number 2 of 4 in a mini tour. I knew some of their hits from their first cd but not much more. At this gig I experienced some of their material from the rest of their releases but primarily their cd that came out in 2007. Their new material kick's batman's ass! I've seen Front 242, KMFDM, etc... live and they all should go to a InSoc concert and take notes. They basically remix their songs live and mix it up so much that even the hardcore fans couldn't help but love it. I'm no a big fan of their material but put over their live show much more than their catalog of work. |

STURM AND DRANG |
After the release of their first cd back as KMFDM from being MDFMK this was a very anticipated tour for many good reasons. I am a very big fan of KMFDM but I am a Hardcore fan of PIG (Raymond Watts). They have a deep rooted past together and have crossed paths for about 5 years, but now they have joined officially again. This show was a great collection of old and new KMFDM work, but most importantly to me was that over 50% of the songs were ones done with Raymond Watts AKA Pig. It was worth the trip half way across Florida & I would and will do it again. |

WW3 |
I made the trip half way across Florida again for this show. I'm a Horde member of KMFDM.com so I got to get into the meet and greet before the show. This was an awesome experience, everyone in the band is very cool and down to earth. I apprieciate them for going out of their way for the fans but they respect their fans unlike many bands in the world. I talked to Sascha and Raymond Watts most, I talked to Andy some as well and he's pretty damn cool. The show was great and they played 100% KMFDM songs (over 20 songs and they played most of WW3). I wanted to hear songs but I'll wait for a tour to occur some day. It was a pretty good crowd, I'd say it was as good as it was in 2002. |

I left my job and was going to travel around America but my sister flew me into the UK. I knocked on the tour bus door and Sascha came, told him I'm from the states etc and he gave me a guest pass. We hung out at the bar and everyone that showed up to the gig was cool. They played a great high energy set that was well worth the train trip from Ipswich. |

Mechanical Animals |
This honestly isn't their best lineup of all time, but a damn good one though. They played everything but songs from their best CD Portrait (best line up). Considering their new work they played it well live with Manson on growing stilts to be over 40 feet in the air under a massive skit. They video screens were put to use to show his ass and shit to the crowd, I had to laugh my ass off as all the posers in the seats starred and couldn't take it. |

| Ministry |
Darkside of the Spoon |
Imagine this, seeing Ministry sober on a tour... Fuck yeah they rocked. The new stuff is cool, playing music from Filth Pig (except Lay Lady Lay which I screamed for, but didn't get), Palm 69 songs and Stigmata to add to the list. As I must speak on House of Blues in Orlando is a fucking great venue, if you are in the area see a damn show there. The acoustics were awesome and it was another show worth driving to see. |
House of Blues |

| Ministry |
Animostitsomina |
This concert was the first one Ministry has Ever played Jacksonville aka Jackoffville FL
and it most likely will be the last. Doors opened at 6pm and presuming it was going to be an "Early" show I showed up at 7pm. I went into the Leopard Lounge which connects to Plush
and for 1 1/2 hours the entrance into Plush from the the Leopard Lounge was closed. They let us in around 8:30 and I heard that the 2 opening bands didn't show up for some reason,
which was the truth and that setup an amazing concert! The crowd sucked accept for most of the people in the pit and a few people on the side bleacher like area where I was.
The band had a Great line up, performed greatly, their visuals on screen were great (for instance during Thieves they had a spinning then stopping knife then showed GW Bush jabbering),
and there were great acoustics for Jackoffville standards. They started off with Animosity and played most of their best songs and played from most of their cds.
About half way thru for Bad Blood Al Jourgenson's wife came out in black tight pants and a tight silver top danced and sang to the song; entertaining.
The promoter wanted to pull the plug an hour through so the jack offs could make money off the moron bubbas and posers that go to Plush to drink Saturday nights
(like they didn't make money off of the packed crowd before and during the concert). Al said fuck you we are going to play as long as we want,
they had two encores which made the show very much worth it. At one point they had 4 guitarists with a total of nine musicians. |

The Fragile |
I love NIN and it was good to finally see them live. I believe that Woodstock 1994 (which saw live on PPV) was their best concert ever so it was hard to take anything closer live in person. The stage setup was cool with the video screens and lighting, but I don't go to shows for that. The music was ok, played a lot of new stuff that was ok, the old stuff got me into the groove just enough to enjoy the concert. |

Easy Listening |
Great lineup Gunter/En Esch formerly of KMFDM, Jarred Louche of Chemlab, of Pitch Shifter. It was a fast high energy show that was pretty well done considering the stage barely holds 4 people and was really stuffed with 10 + people on stage at time. They played Chemlab's song Codeine, Glue And You it was less electronic and more rock. They played Pitch Shifter's song Genius. Jarred of Chemlab was crazy running around stage, on the drum kit, falling onto the crowd and jumping into the crowd, singing on the floor. Pitch Shifter's lead singer performed very well. En Esch was crazy as usual. Gunter jammed out some good guitar parts. |

Life Is Killing Me |
After Lacuna Coil stunk up the place as one of the worst opening acts I've ever wasted some of my hearing on (with ear plugs on just for them though) the whole atmosphere and mood changed as Type O came on. Their set consisted of songs from all of their cds with some bits and pieces of cover song parts in-between songs (didn't play 1 full one though). They took a small intermission and as the posers stood lifeless as they did the whole show me and some others joking chanted you sucked during some of the time. Pete Came out and said yes I know we suck, you you paid to see us suck. Pete made some more humorous jokes during the show and ended thanking us for our support. I want to thank them here for them striving and continuing to make great and worth listening to music. |

Formless |
This was their first show in Orlando and my first time seeing them. The venue was a decent sized bar with a decent stage with a drum riser. They were given one hour to play and made the most of it. The singer was sick so she didn't sound great. Santiago was amazing on guitar and so was the new Drummer Ian. Santiago didn't do as much guitar flutter as I expected but did things I've never heard with a guitar before. The new drummer exicuted everything off their debut cd with ease and a whole lot more complex parts that were very impressive and entertaining. They have their original bassit in the line-up again who sounded pretty funky. |

This was supposed to be a Prog Metal fest but Aghora was the only true defining band of the genre at this gig. The rest were death metal and misc junk filler. They went on late so then what was left were us die hard fans. They shred as they always do and impressed me as they always do. The sound guy was a moron but it happens and redneck style venues in floreeeduhhh. I enjoyed their performance from the bathroom for a good amount of the gig as that is were the accoustics were best overall... |

A fucking crazy guitar blast from start to finish. He played all types of insane shit for almost 3 hours. It was late and I was tired so I went to my Jeep and moved it to a parking spot right beside the venue where I could still hear fine and I layed in my seat for 2 more songs. I had to tap out because I endured 2 other opening acts and heard enough Buckethead live which is a good thing. |

For the past few years females have more frequently become lead singers of Metal bands. Crisis was one of the first to do this. Unlike most other female metal singers Karyn Crisis has a unique varying style of singing. She doesn't just scream and do the cookie monster voice on crack. Their energy was infectious and the music ripped up the shit hole they were playing in. |

I was fortunate enough that their 2nd and last tour of 2005 came to Jacksonville. This tour didn't go to any other city in Florida and none in Georgia so it was appreciated. They put on a great aggressive show again and for the last song Karyn put on a great pair of Angel wings she made. |

I've missed them many times in the past 10 years (once with Queensryche & Fates Warning whoa did I fuck up!). When I found out they were on the first Gigantour I bought my tickets the first day. I thought it would sell out a lot quicker than the last day but it did finally sell out. I didn't waste my hearing on the opening acts. Dream Theater was as good as I thought they'd be and more. LaBree didn't even crack like I thought he would. They crowd was into DT more than any other band that played on this evening. Mike told the crowd to go to the Tampa show as they were going to play a totally different set. As I drove home I knew somehow I was going to get off from work to see them in Tampa. |

After seeing them 2 nights prior I had even higher expectations for this show. Even though they started slower than the last show they blew away the house (the conscious ones atleast) thru out the rest of the set. After seeing them 2 times in Florida on the Gigantour I got to see them in the UK after my sister flew me in on vacation. They played a few great songs that I didn't see on Gigantour. After missing them back in Jacksonville FL around 2000 (at a shit box of a venue though) I figure it'd be difficult to see them perform someday as they broke up and I was still in FL until recently. I was talking to a friend about bands I missed in the past and then looked up Econoline Crush (they only have a spamspace...) then I saw tour dates and a new cd. I saw a gig that I could make it to somehow and made it. It was my first trip to Canada which was smooth a entrance. The venue was a slick layout which a balcony that wrapped around to give a great venue from all angles above. The lineup is fully new minus the singer. The singer performs to me like a modern day Billy Idol. He engaged the audience well and was very high energy. They performed all of their (Canadian) Hits and a few good new tracks. If you're in Canada their worth the drive to see especially at a good venue. |

I'm not a big fan of theirs but some of their old stuff is good and like Testament and seeing as they rarely tour and Crisis was playing I went. They have another new singer, and he said he was born in Jacksonville (it figured). They played mostly new stuff which was ok at best. They didn't play any of their good old songs so they were weak in my eyes. People actually moshed to them as they didn't mosh for the 3 opening acts. |

Satriani, Petrucci, Gilbert |
Being a huge Dream Theater fan (Petrucci/Portnoy specifically) and knowing that their next tour wouldn't be anywhere near me and knowing that it is a very unique show I knew that I had to go to this gig. Paul Gilbert was oook but nothing special overall. Next was 95% of the reason I went to the show - John Petrucci, Mike Portnoy & Dave LaRue's set. The set was composed of Petrucci's solo album work. That cd had neither of this musicians on it. Live those songs with these two dynamic musicians was fulfilling to hear. There was a good amount of improv by all three. There really wasn't a slow part of the set. Lastly was the G3 jam which was decent but they didn't play my favorite Satriani track which is Summer Song (it was the damn summer too!). |

Fucking Awesome!!! Their performance was hardcore and tuned up nice from their animated intro of the band (humorous). The stage was perfect and the vertical strobes of light across the ceiling at one point drew us deeper into the music during the show. This is one of few shows that I didn't plan to go to in my life. I saw them before and enjoyed it but didn't really want to see them again. People I knew had an extra ticket and the show sold out so I went. They had new guitarist and drummer in the line-up. They played bring back the bomb which is one of few new songs I enjoy and had some guitar flutter in some of the guitar solos which I die for but besides that it wasn't refreshing or that entertaining to me. They had 3 or 4 pits going at once during a few points which was good. If you haven't seen them its worth seeing but they don't play many classics anymore so its not worth seeing twice. |

Wow Bruce and the band still rock as hard as they did 20 years ago when most of this tour's material came out. This tour goes hand in hand with the release of their Live After Death dvd which contains much of the same tracks. The stage show is a beast and Eddie came out in a Laker jersey at this show which I didn't give a fuck for because I don't give a shit about basketball. They didn't play Flight of Icarus, Die With Your Boots on or many others I wanted to hear but it was a decent setlist overall. If you're a Maiden fan its worth a long journey to see them. |

I really enjoyed their old singer and a good amount of their music. Their new singer just doesn't cut it on cd or live. She is ok on two of their new songs and could barely stand her doing material from the previous singer's last cd. When she attempted to sing their classics it was painful. If you're a fan of the old line-up just buy their last dvd. |

Down to Earth |
Another Great performance this time with a modern younger line up. The drummer of faith no more and Ozzy's desire to perform this last show before going to be by his recovering wife took this Ozzy performance to the next level |

Fuck'n great show as I expected it to be and Well worth the wait. Prong's lead sing has such a hardcore strong voice he doesn't even sing 1 foot away from the mic much of the time. |

This was an Evening with Queensryche gig where they did a best of set then the whole Operation Mind Crime cd. The best of set was pretty good but missing a few of my favorites like NM 156. Operation Mind Crime was great live. They had actors on stage as the main characters which interacted with the band. I was a kid compared to most of the audience :^P I was disappointed with HOB for once though. They were Nazis at the enterance seperating by sex to cheak for weapons and to scan tickets. The sound guy did a horrible job this evening too. |

Nice |
Hard to the Fucking Core non stop no bullshit full on musical assault and I enjoyed it very much. This was the first tour of Rollins Band with his new Band (Mother Superior) which is a fairly young and very talented band which gave a fine tuned sound to each song. Note to you people up top if you like sitting to see a fucking hardcore concert or any real ones for the matter buy a dvd. |

They were as crazy live as you would expect. It was audio madness so I walked to the outfield area of the field to watch it. They were pretty decent but not worth seeing as a main event. |

TBA |
Before going to this show I've only heard a few songs but knew it would be atleast decent. It turned out to be one of the most fun bands I've ever seen live and I've seen many bands live as you can fuck'n see here. They're a fun kick ass metal band with a great sense of humor. Two of the light covers on stage were pink and they said Stuck Mojo doesn't play to Pink lights and took the pink lenses off. |

This best of cd catalogues their career of hard rocking metal songs. Great songs, Great guitars, and Cyco Miko's awesome energy and lyrics. My thing is that you have to see them Live to really feel the music fully, so get off your ass and see them. |

High energy full on jamm'n band live. I wasn't big on their old stuff Until I say and heard it live. They busted out with some Sultans of Swing half way through and as usual no on in the crowd knew what the fuck it was. |

Traveling from Jacksonville Florida to New Orleans was a Journey and so was seeing them live. My associate that I went with wanted to get closer as did I so I started going up, some meathead spilled some crap beer on me so I told him off. He started talking shit about him being in the Military and how he'll kick my ass blah blah his girl friend grabbed him by the balls, he appologized and us 3 pushed thru the crowd to get a great spot (the moron associate I went to the show with didn't follow). The show was amazing, the music and the visuals were intense and at one point their was a naked male and female hanging from the top of the stage upside down. They twisted around in the 40 degree weather and at one point hung upside down for a few minutes. |

Good Show, Great performance, it Musically LACKED J's guitar skills and you felt the lack of it on all of J's rifts the new guitarist Tried to perform. The Pyro made up for it :^P |

A nice stripped down version of his show. They played more of the new material which again they play much better than Trying to perform J's guitar licks and skills. |

From Chaos |
311 is one of few bands that has a unique and tasteful flavor to their music. After years of funky unique music it has been perfected. I enjoyed Beautiful Disaster (a song dedicated to my car) and Amber (a song I dedicated to my dead Cat and Dog). I enjoyed all the new songs from the From Chaos cd and most of the old ones. |

I took my 14 year old nephew to this show (his mom was a hippie and took him to 20 dead shows by the age of 4). This was the last show of the tour. They played a lot of new songs, some were decent. I enjoyed Beautiful Disaster (a song dedicated to my car) and Amber (a song I dedicated to my dead Cat and Dog) again. |

*future cd* |
This is a band that peaked, almost died off completely and came back from its ashes in the 1980's thru the 1990's. They aren't around just for nostalgia, they are around because they still rock! They are a real rock bad and play their music with passion as they have for all the years before. They played some blues, straight rock solos and their a good amount of their big hits. On the video screen were some pretty funny Jackass type impersonations of them using their instruments as skateboards and snow boards (unique). I'm glad I got to see them and I'm glad they still provide the world with one of the Last great rock shows. |

| Bob Dylan |
Love and Theft |
This show was a good mix of old and new songs. Bob Dylan always changes the style that he plays his music and this time it was sort of country which I'm not a fan of but he made it work. Considering he was in the South it works just right for JackSonVILLE. |

Love and Theft |
This show was a mostly new songs. I missed the first 20 minutes of the 1 hour and 15 minute set. Bob Dylan always changes the style that he plays his music and this time it was Rockabilly which I don't like and it wasn't that great of a performance. They played Everybody Wants to get Stoned at the end. |

| Daniel Ash (of Bauhaus) |
Daniel Ash |
Daniel Ash has done a good amount of solo records, none as good as his work with Sisters of Mercy but he is good live! I'm not saying that seeing him live was just a substitute for not being able to see Sisters Of Mercy yet; he was good and worth seeing. He played some Sisters Of Mercy songs and acoustic music was good to hear live UNTIL the JackAss Marquee Theatre in JackOffVille Florida has their shity fucking bad acoustics and sound techs fuck up the show every now and then. |

| Esthero |
Wikked lil Grrls |
Esthero is just as fun the listen to live as she is on cd. Cee-Lo who lives in Atlanta joined her to do Gone from her new cd (even though we all would rather to see him help her out on Country Livin'). The only complaint I have was that Fastline was really life in the slow lane as she did it accoustic and very slow. |

| Kiss |
*Tour* |
Kiss is a band whose Army of Fans come from people who grew up on them in the 70's and 80's. I would have been into them as well if I grew up as a teen in those times. They played a good amount of good songs, the sound engineer fucked up some times early on but it worked out. To me pyro blasts are annoying and useless for a concert; a concert is MUSIC not a MOVIE. They jammed out together pretty well and gene simmons God Of Thunder part was pretty entertaining. They were worth seeing live minus the gay as hell solo song by the drummer (maybe some lame old chick liked it). |
